THINGS THAT ARE DEPRESSING ME TODAY

1. The end of David Tennant as Dr Who (he's fit!)?

2. House prices fell. Again (not that I'm a home owner...)

3. This article in the Guardian today:

Now, the backlash

The sex industry is booming, the rape conviction rate is plummeting, women's bodies are picked over in the media, abortion rights are under serious threat and top business leaders say they don't want to employ women. It all adds up to one thing ... an all-out assault on feminism. But why? And what's to be done about it, asks Kira Cochrane

Basically it's the end of the world as we know it.

See, you lost me at 'women's bodies are picked over in the media'. I'm confused by this statement ... and wonder, 'where have I been, when the bodies were being picked over?'

We own a house. We bought at 320, the price went up to almost 400, and now the prices are hovering about 200. It's quite painful.
