So all those back in Canada can see my beloved city, Glasgow, in all its glory! I love that it seems to have been documented on a sunny summer day too!

Google Maps users can zoom in to a given location and then drag the "Pegman" icon above the zoom bar on to a given street.

A picture view of that street appears, which users can control to get a 360-degree view of the area or to progress on street level, throughout the city.

Why is the mural of Bobby Sands blurred out? WTF?

I think they blur out all human faces for some reason. Permission and licensing issues? *shrugs*

Hmmm...here I was thinking it was due to some political reasoning because other murals aren't blurred out. It's weird. Also, you can't seem to go any further down Falls Road...?! This thing is amazing. If only it was available in Toronto too!

It's bizarre, though - the car appears to have turned around all sorts of places! I mean, I tried to follow it from the top of Park Circle to the wee library over near George's Cross, and it just plain didn't connect. At all.
